"Re-Animator" Trilogy, 1985-2003

Herbert West, portrayed by Jeffrey Combs, is the main character of the horror-comedy "Re-Animator". A deranged scientist with the obsession of defeating death, he enlists the help of medical student Daniel Cain to finally bring his work to life (haha), and fulfill his life's mission. He keeps this goal throughout the following two films, "Bride of Re-Animator" and "Beyond Re-Animator", and his freakish and arrogant vibe has made him quite the interesting specimen.
